After a very long and hard winter, The Husband and I treated ourselves to a weekend away. We didn’t go far, opting to drive to Omaha for a romantic weekend. “Honey, it’s mom. Call me when you get this.” I hit end on my cell phone and returned my attention to the meeting I was in. I was in a rush to get out the door, eager to get on the road to Dalhart, TX with my dad. Dad and me were picking [...] Our second day in Montana found us in the car again for a day trip to Yellowstone National Park. The experience actually turned out to be a spiritual one for me for a couple different reasons: Well, The Husband and I rolled into town at 9:02 yesterday evening. We’re glad to be back in Kansas, but we already miss Montana. I’ll have updates tomorrow (hopefully!) The day after we arrived in Montana my in-laws had a low-key day in mind. The Husband and I truly appreciated it after being in the car for 18 hours within 2 days. We toured Helena via foot, car and railroad tour trolley.
